When our company initially looked at ARO Manager, there seemed to be
a few features that were missing. But after discussing those features with
the Support and Development team, those missing elements were quickly
implemented, and we decided to purchase and have never looked back.
Moving from our spreadsheet to ARO Manager has allowed us to update
our calculations more quickly and efficiently. After running concurrent for a
short period of time to confirm the calculations matched, we have stopped
using our spreadsheet, and rely solely on ARO Manager for tracking our
Asset Retirement Obligations.
The efficiency of using ARO Manager vs an Excel worksheet has equated
to the work of almost a full-time person for at least one month and has
eliminated many formula-based errors in calculations. The XI people are
responsive to ideas for updates and new features, and support is always
available and helpful.
