AssetBook Training

AssetBook training is designed to provide an overview of the products by taking you through its main features and functions. This 1.5 hour session will help you to identify potential acquisition, divestiture, merger, trade, and farm-in opportunities. In this session, you will learn how to:

  • Search and find companies
  • Identify a company’s core area(s)
  • Search and find fields
  • Identify the players in the field
  • Create a specific area using DLS or NTS coordinates
  • Create well lists for both companies and areas
  • Create lease/land lists for both companies and areas
  • Create probability graphs
  • Create land graphs
  • Export well and lease/land lists to other programs
  • Export well and lease/land lists to Google Earth
  • Search companies according to specific criteria
  • Merge companies
  • Create a summary of a company

H2S Training

This one hour session takes you through the three steps of the XI H2S Gold report, an ERCB compliant tool to help you calculate your H2S release rate. A general overview of the relevant sections of ERCB Directive 56 will also be provided**. In this session, you will learn how to:

  • Exclude formations
  • Rename formations
  • Apply your chosen gas analysis and flow rate
  • Footnote
  • Get additional information from the XI Browse Feature
  • Identify critical alerts
  • Use XI’s InfoXchange
  • Split the Summary sheet (for intermediate casing)
  • Make adjustments to the release rate

Custom Group Training

Do you have a unique training need? XI offers complimentary group training sessions for groups of 3 or more. Custom sessions can be held at the XI Training Center or a location of your choice. In Custom Training, we can focus on the product and/or functionality of your choice. We’ll answer your specific questions and work with you to address your project requirements.
