AssetBook ARO Manager is the only standardized tool for estimating and monitoring asset retirement obligations in Western Canada’s oil and gas sector. It examines different abandonment and reclamation factors that are not accounted for in LLR/LMR calculations.

ARO Manager 101: Introduction

This introduction to AssetBook ARO Manager will help you create new projects, navigate, and view cost models. You will learn how it manages operated and non-operated working interest, and give you a more realistic estimation of the retirement costs associated with individual assets or with your entire corporate portfolio.

Specifically, you will learn how to:

• Calculate potential ARO of an asset package using XI’s standardized cost model.
• Summarize data in different ways using one of XI’s many integrated reports:
  • Project Overview
  • Liability Schedule
  • Grouped Summary
• View data on the Map

ARO Manager 102: Intermediate

This ARO Manager training class with help you create/edit cost models, and provide a deeper look into specific features of your projects.

Specifically, you will learn how to:

• Create/edit a new cost model
• Update license details, and explore additional license columns
• Update and refresh project data
• Manage joint projects, cost models, and jurisdictions

Length: 30 minutes (plus Q&A time as needed)

ARO Manager Administrator Functions

Advanced training on administrative functions such as:

• Publishing read only copies of cost models and projects.
• Sharing Cost Models and Projects with individuals.
• Transferring projects on behalf of other colleagues.
• Information on user defined columns.
